Full Job Description
We are recruiting for a Sales and Enquiries Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join an independent business which has incredible venues across Norfolk and Suffolk. We are looking for a friendly and confident person with exceptional people skills to deliver great customer service to our prospective couples. Taking couples successfully through the sales process, providing excellent customer service from their first enquiry to signing their contract.
Based at: Covers all venues, office work at Pentney Abbey or Oxnead Hall
Hours of work: Minimum of 16 hours a week, regular weekend work required.
Example shifts: 9am to 5pm, 10am to 6pm, 4pm to 8pm
Pay: £12 per hour
Full driving licence and access to own transport is required
The Role
- Work to follow the sales process to maximise every opportunity to obtain a booking
- Build relationships with prospective couples, to guide them through the sales and booking process
- Strive to always have an in depth knowledge of all of our venues and packages, to communicate these to prospective couples with confidence
- Be welcoming and professional when conducting viewings at our venues. Having attention to detail and pride when showing our venues during viewings
- Always provide an excellent level of customer service when communicating with prospective couples via phone and email
- Use our systems SONAS and Dialpad to manage and respond to enquiries in a timely manner, responding quickly and efficiently
- Create quotes for prospective couples using our package price guides
- Have attention to detail to create and thoroughly check bookings contracts
- Regularly liaise with and report back to the Sales Manager
- Work to meet bookings targets
Experience
- Sales Experience is essential
- Experience using Dialpad is desirable
- Experience using SONAS or a similar system is desirable
- Experience in the wedding and events industry, and / or hospitality
- Experience providing customer service for a luxury service or goods
- Strong administrative experience
- Experience communicating with clients over the phone, email and in person
