Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join us as part of our Events Team! Responsibilities range from stewarding guests, to serving food and drink. We are proud to have an incredible events team, we rely on each and every staff member to make the business the best it can be, and to deliver amazing experiences to the couples that book their big day with us.
Access to private transport is essential.
The Role
- Event set-up, including laying tables and preparing for an event day
- Greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Offering drinks and canapés to guests
- Serving food and clearing plates
- Event clear down, including carefully packaging of event décor, and preparation for the next event
- Assisting the Wedding Planner and Evening Event Manager in any event specific requirements
- Working as a team to provide exceptional customer service
- Any other duties reasonably requested
Experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to use own initiative
- Timekeeping and promptness
- Ability to work well within a team environment
Skills and Qualities
- Driving licence
- Any relevant qualifications in building and property maintenance and / or construction
- Organisational skills
- ‘Can do’ attitude, willing to get ‘hands on’
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise tasks across a range of simultaneous projects
- Problem solving skills
- Professional, approachable with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Good written and spoken communication skills
